“ Our friends recommended Anita and Otto’s for dinner. I have never enjoyed German food as much as this experience. From the fresh made rolls to the entree and dessert to go plate, this restaurant experience was truly joyful. The creamy dill pickle soup comes with specials and is oddly addictive and delicious! Everything was beautifully prepared, fresh, and scrumptious. Matt took great care of us and sang happy birthday in German to three separate guests that evening. Street parking is limited but in the evening you can park in nearby parking lots. Anita and Otto’s is well known and has a following of steady and new clientele. It’s small but had room for small parties and couples. I would recommend a reservation. My husband and I look forward to returning and trying other menu items. Thank you! ”
“ This place is great! The food was unbelievably good! And it was very reasonably priced, with great service and quickly served food! The restaurant had old-world atmosphere and a large selection of baked goods. Also the dark beer was awesome, so I'massumingthe others were good as well! The parking is tight, but that seems the case for many places in the area. I would recommend to all my friends! ”

The restaurant has a homey & cozy ambience, kitschy and cute Bavarian art on the walls, but most importantly the food is OUTSTANDING every single time. I have not eaten a single item here (including the scrumptious desserts) that was anything less than fantastic. Also, Otto and Anita (and their oldest daughter Lisa, who is the server) are simply wonderful people. You owe it to yourself to head over to Multnomah Village and try this hidden gem!! ”
“ This is exactly what you want to bring you back to Germany. The restaurant is beautifully designed and has memorabilia and art work all in the interior. Food is excellent and is a good portion all while being served by the extremely hospitable family who owns it. They have pastries upfront to buy upfront made by Anita. We don’t have many places like this left, go and enjoy. Parking can be a problem but look around and you will find something ”
“ We took my Mom here for a pre Mother's Day dinner on Saturday night. The place was busy with two very large parties, but she was able to get us a reservation. We were there as they opened, were quickly sat, and enjoyed our experience tremendously! The food is great but the service is where they shine. Despite having multiple competing demands, they always made us feel like we were the priority. We love going here and I am just thankful it is two hours away, otherwise I would be there everyday! ”
